I like to imagine the marshmallow cookie factory gave the camera crew a pat-down before letting them through the doors and had an armed security guard escort them to whole time to make sure they didn't film anything confidential.

This will forever be my comfort show.

I wish they would do an episode on how the manufacturing machine are made... I know they are custom-made, but who invents the different stage processes that results in the final product?

This always makes me sleepy. Not because its boring, but so calming... 🥹

I love their dedication to only film off brand versions lol

I love how during the marshmallow segment even the narrator is like "This company is way too paranoid about giving out their recipes"

All I can imagine is huggbees screaming “Newman-O’s” into the microphone like someone just insulted his mother when the packaging is put on the “sandwich cookies”.

The jawbreaker episode was one of the first How It's Made episodes I saw while browsing the T.V. as a kid. Safe to say I was hooked instantly.

The fact that they just say "an American company in the 20s" as if Hydrox wasn't dethroned by Oreo in a marketing war for the textbooks

Margarine?! In croissant dough?! I am clutching my pearls right now.

Got to admire the Engineers who design and manufacture these machines. I am an Engineer and have made many custom machines, but these are on another level.

Why the heck did I watch this episode while I was hungry

@Mukkod @Mukkod  24/07/05 00:54  polubiono  136

its funny how they blur the address on the cocoa bag on just one bag...like we cant infer the rest from surrounding bags

I'm here after watching huggbee's videos and all i can hear is the bit with the newman o's. I thought that clip looked familiar lmao

This is one of the best shows Science Channel/Discovery ever produced.

Yep. As someone who worked in a candy factory making all sorts of gummies, I can safely say watching this is the stuff of nightmares. I lifted upwards of 11k pounds a day. Never again! Also that process is about the same everywhere.

Hydrox was the first sandwich cookie before Oreo.

I think my favourite part of these videos is the knowledge that most of these production shots are slowed down so so so much so we can actually see what's happening

I must say, censoring the address in the bag is weird. Since you didnt hide the address in the other bags

@DampActionRC @DampActionRC  24/06/28 15:48  polubiono  57

who else pulls apart their Oreo to make their own double stuf?
